No new entries since......
November 1? What's going on?
Work. Well, mostly work. I'm a money-hungry whore (is that redundant?) and have been getting lots of business lately. On one hand, that's good. On another, not so good.
So why the drought? This isn't the first time yours truly has been busy. We're ALL busy!
Seriously, don't you hate it when somebody snorts about how busy they are? Almost every adult is busy. Busy with work, family, all that. But saying "I'm sooooooo busy," is the ultimate in self-absorption. It's just a self-serving pat on the back.
No, I'm not laying that "I'm busy" crap on you guys. You're all busy, yet have the time to come to this blog and read it. So I owe you better than "I'm busy." All playing the "I'm so busy" card does is show your time management skills blow.
Besides, that really isn't the reason. No, I'm pretty sure when it comes to this blog, I have adult deficit hyperactivity disorder. Or maybe symptoms of it.
When I had my blog up on Angelfire, lo those many years ago, I wrote up all the entries (well, most of them) back then. Then I went to Yahoo! and just copied and pasted them. Then when I moved here, I did the same. So it was easier to load everything up, pictures and the actual write-ups and post.
Yeah. I've almost run out of them. So now I have to go back into my records, dig out my notes and pics, scan them in (if need be) and do all that for my future entries.
So where does the ADHD come in?
Well, I've been digging out and writing up four stories. No, I can't just do one and post it. That would make far too much sense. I get halfway through one and start another.
I have no clue as to why I do this. Maybe it's because I have to be so regimented in my work that I flake out when I do the blog. The great thing about a blog is you can do anything with it from a creative point of view. I can add related blogs, I can tweak the pics, I can post when and how much I want. It's great. But it's also easy to let slide.
And it's a little ridiculous on my part to assume that people will keep coming here if I never update it. And I've only just started to make headway into my sexual history, as weird as that may seem.
So I apologize. There's no reason to abandon--or, better yet, neglect--my blog.
Expect an entry in the next few nights. I'm focusing my energies on Ashley, the girl I mentioned in the Maria entry. After that, I'll try to more be more consistent with my entries. And if I'm not, I'll come by just to say why.
Ashley's a good story. Doesn't paint me in the best of lights, but hey, the truth shall set you free, I guess.
Or just depress you.
